A Textbook Example
Obama is a charlatan of the first order. Take, for example, this article.
He says that repubs are trying to block his socialized health care bill for political purposes, not bothering to mention the 200,00-plus that march on D.C. this past weekend to protest this attempted gov't takeover.
He says he wants to reduce the deficit with this bill but his own Congressional Budget Office says the bill would increase the deficit.
He says he wants to provide choice and competition but the public option would destroy private insurance firms, leaving people with no choice in their health care.
He says he has a stake in getting health care reform right (since he wants to be re-elected) but doesn't mention the fact that the bill wouldn't really start to kick in until after 2012.
Same malarkey, different day.
